Cutting-Edge Technology in Sleep

DROWZLE®: FDA-Approved Sleep Apnea Test Online

If you're over the age of 21 and experiencing symptoms of insomnia or sleep apnea, DROWZLE® offers an online screening test.

The screening test is designed to give you a general idea of whether you may have signs of sleep apnea. It is similar to a sleep apnea test near me but it is done in the comfort of your own home. It is important to keep in mind that the results are not a clinical diagnosis and will require further testing.

The DROWZLE® online sleep test is simple, convenient, and takes about 5 minutes to set up from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a smartphone and wifi.

Since it's an at-home test, you can complete the test whenever is most convenient for you. Follow the instructions after downloading the app, go to bed and start the test!

Once the test is completed, SLIIIP® will reach out to schedule a sleep telemedicine consultation with board-certified sleep physicians.

Sleeping with Sleep Apnea?

Symptoms of sleep apnea can be subtle. There are different types of sleep apnea, with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) being the most common. OSA occurs when throat muscles relax and block the airway intermittently. This condition leads to fragmented sleep, snoring, and unrefreshing.

Daytime fatigue, morning headaches, and memory difficulties are also common. If left untreated, sleep apnea can worsen heart and mental health. Seeking medical evaluation and proper treatment is essential for managing the condition effectively.

Treatment for OSA includes CPAP, oral appliance therapy, lifestyle changes, and, in some cases, surgery.

Oral appliances can be fitted by Hartley Bridge Family Dentistry. Please ask the staff about the process for oral appliance treatment and better sleep.
